PR would have made Lab-libdem (assuming they could meet somewhere in the middle, which we couldn't guarantee with Clegg) a bigger coalition. Depending on how the rules were, perhaps given the Tories had the bigger vote they'd have had the first chance to pull together a coalition. That said, they wouldn't have been able to beat the lab-dem outright as their vote share together was 52% and you can assume greens and other smaller parties would have been happy to pitch in to shut down a "Tory+UKIP+DUP+BNP (who got 2% of the vote)+other nutters" coalition for ever.

Technical-ish question; as said before, dipping my toe in with a 500km event at the end of the month. Going to adapt my bikepacking setup for the ride itself, but pondering cassettes. After 200km or so, I've got the Ventoux to go up from Malaucene and thinking about moving from my 11-34 to a -36 or even a -40. Good idea? Pointless? I found the Ventoux a bit tough last weekend and that was without 200km and a 4am start in the legs.
On the plus side, the route has changed, cutting out climbing the gorges de verdun in the middle of the night which was my least favourite part of the whole thing.

Once you've sorted @plasticniki can you see if you have a second one (seems unlikely)?

Well that's what I was asking, wasn't it. Also, this is the one she liked, from what that post says.

The problem is, she admits that she shouldn't have done it, that the post is problematic and doesn't remember liking it.
That said, all seems like a storm in a teacup. It's not something that should have her replaced as a candidate unless something else happened we don't know about.

Just finished my quick trip to the mountains. Did the ventoux as my mates wanted to. Pissed it down on arrival in Briançon so we sat around and “recovered” (mostly went to the brewery). After that did a loop into Italy via the col de l’échelle and back via montgenevre. Today did the izoard which is officially open but still very snowy. Would absolutely recommend the loop into Italy; really quiet climb along the valley, one of the best descents from the summit to Oulx I’ve ever done and the tunnel is always nice.

I finished after the Agnel and rode back to Turin as I'd crashed a few times and was not feeling the offroad stuff any more. As a loop it was good though.
