Also, if I were you I'd get the ESTA as well. I appreciate you may not need it but in my experience the agents at the border crossings south of Vancouver (both US and Canadian ones) can be quite variable in their approach to how they handle you. I've had them wave me through after I washed my passport and my visa stamp had gone and had them make me go and wait in a line for two hours despite having my ESTA AND a visa stamp from my original arrival.
More documentation can't hurt and it's only 14 dollars.

Given Cav's best result was 3rd in Turkey I think the risk of him failing would have been too large for most teams... but DD... honestly what are they going to do in the tour really? At least Cav would have given some sponsor value (although the Dimension Data brand is in the process of being killed off anyway).

@andyp - next few weeks apparently. Don't quite understand the plan but I guess I don't have to. Having had a look at the route though, I quite fancy it myself now.

That's an odd move. I know he still gets to race the tour but I would have thought some other world tour teams would have been happy to hire him. That said, I think sprinters leaving quickstep tend not to have great records in the years after leaving; combine that with what I assume is a pretty hefty salary then I would assume it's scaring people off.
Degenkolb to Lotto-Soudal is also an odd one; they seem to have a decent classics team anyway and it seems his best years in the classics are behind him.

It's nice they're giving Elissonde a start I also keep forgetting him; seems like he's not done much with Sky/Ineos over the last few years. I didn't realise he was relatively so young as he's been around for years. This is his 9th full season in the world tour and he's only 27.
Warren Barguil is a bit of a disappointment. Pissed off to Arkea Samsic because he wasn't allowed to freelance on Sunweb and had some sort of belief that he'd be romping to KoM jerseys or high GC placings all over the place. Then he had that shit-fit at Look which was rumoured to have been less about the bikes he was riding and more because he wanted his bike shop(s?) to be the only Look dealers in the area and they declined.
As for Bardet, it does seem he is doing a Schleck and refusing to learn to TT well enough to sustain a GC bid.

Don't know if anyone saw but NTT is phasing out the Dimension Data brand starting next month:

Given their crappy performance this year I wonder if they'll actually continue with the team when their sponsorship is up. I've no idea when the deal is due to expire but you'd have to hope that they get some good coverage during the tour.

Decathlon do a load of MTB style stuff which could work
