who were the hipsters doing a track try out session at Welwyn today? orange bike, green bike, some others, spoke cards, bmx helmets and stuff..
someone said they were a bike polo team!
and one of you had a rollapaluza cap on...
two of you need to lower your saddles as well, (not the guys in the picture from what I remember)
Ha! First. Spotted. Ever.
It was the first time on the track for all but one of us and was incredibly fun.

Here's the route that I've roughly been doing to London from Cambridge recently. It's pretty quiet for most of it but with more uphills on the return (London to Cambridge) journey I think.

This one on the map is pretty much the most direct and easiest route that I know of.
I'm pissed that I'm going to be away for this considering how many people and going to riding up to our fair city.

i think we're running no starting blocks for the sprinters, standing start for us (it's 2 on 2).
we need to do a few more practise runs (at the moment they'd have us beat), but if anyones in cambridge and curious, then we'll be taking on the varsity guys in the next week or so.I am curious (about this). Where in Cambridge? I definitely want to watch.

So, after the polo attendance fail I decided to go on a long bike ride. I ended up cycling down to London and then ended up at Downham Road, played polo, and got drunk. It was great and people seem really down with the Cambridge Tournament. It should be a blast.
In other news, the sun was shining so much that as well as Hayden-esque tan lines on my arms, the only part of my legs with a tan is the top of my knees. Needless to say it looks pretty darn stupid.
Who's in tomorrow night?
No swearing.

This was such a fantastic day. Thanks so much to Will and Tess for everything. I can't believe how well we did with the weather.
Congratulations to Hayden for winning everything!
