Here are some pics of my new piece done yesterday at Shoreline in St Ives Cornwall. Japanese inspired crane and weeping cherry blossom, this was one 2 hour sitting including finalising the design, back again in a couple of weeks to finish off the tree and blossom as well as some 'filling swirls'.

my insurance money has come through so I am looking to buy a bike real soon, I cant seem to find a race or club to chat to or try bikes so I am after some input from yourselves.

I have narrowed it down to either the On One Inbred 29er race or the Haro Mary XC, both geared, both steel, haro has sus forks inbred rigid carbon forks- also Haro £200 cheaper!

I have sat on a Giant and a Trek/ Gary Fisher in 29er but felt cumbersome, the best I have ridden is actually a Cube LTD edition but dunno if I can do alu frame, although not too sure why.......

OK chaps I am after a mountain bike to complete my stable. At a shade under 6'4" every shop I have been into has suggested I get a 29er of various brands- I do quite fancy the Inbred 29er race with gears any opinions? I also think a Charge Duster Mid might be worthwhile to look at esp as 2010 models are reduced at CRC and there is a Genesis Altitude at a decent price at Evans.

Please help.

that was January, and only just heard about my payout! Both carbon fork legs snapped completely off but at least my face smashed the bastard's windscreen!

there is a massive one on my profile page but phone pic, black with silver bit at the back, some embroidery and scratched at the back- like I said nothing special but I have done a 40 miler on this with no complaints,.

one tiny tear, marks on rails and mud splats underneath, embroidery is fine- its only a fiver!
