WHERE? I went down a highstreet looking thing just before OKR, a netto springs to mind (if that helps where it is) and found nothing.
On the left down peckham road/high street, as if you're on your way to camberwell. It's a pretty crap bike shop tbh, but if you just want a tube or borrow a pump or something, it'll do.

Yeah it is a converter and no i didnt find it with it in, I bought it separately, for y other bike then found that the quill stem was seized into the steerer tube.
Oh ok, I was just wondering if you found it a didn't need it, but looks like you do.

I need to find somewhere to sell it where people who are gonna buy it for restoration will see it, not just buy it for peanuts and paint it pink, which will probably happen on ebay.

Get it powdercoated fluro orange up at Armourtex, sling a white Zaffiro on the back and a green Deep V up front, I am not sure what colour Ourys would work (maybe red?) but a camouflage top tube pad will certainly do the trick.

if you don't know what you are doing, don't clean it or strip it or try to renovate. otherwise you could loose valuable information bout the bike or possibly ruin it. one thing antiques road-show has taught me!

Ok heres some badly taken pics that I did quickly.
It would look better after a clean. There's more rust on the chain stays than I thought but the front triangle is much better (see pics)
I think the black bars are the originals, as opposed to the ones on the bike.
I have an original child's seat for the back aswell I think, but it is somewhere else, hence no photos.

Peckham's not the place to be with any bike, someone smashed my rear wheel in whilst trying to nick my mtb that's probably worth about 50p in Peckham, either that or they was just angry at how crap it was, and how well I had locked it up.

to a certain extent people are going to be paying more for expected better quality.
There's gonna be an obvious quality difference between a £100-200 bike and a similar £600+ bike, but above that there probably gets less of a difference.
