Was a good experience, even getting a double puncture from a massive pot-hole. Glad I packed two spare tubes! Other cyclisits also fell foul of the pot-hole and Eddie went down to warn people to avoid it, as he came back to help with the puncture someone fell off after hitting the whole.
As Eddie said seeing the whole road lit up in front of you with flashing red lights makes for a surreal experience, like some cheap ass moving disco.
After the punctures Hayden wrapped himself in a thin blue light making him easier to spot flying off into the night and meant Matt P and I could follow the others. By the time we hit the feed station they were well on their way. Mr Power needed recharging as he looked like death cooled down. The rest of my journey was a mix of full on speed and passing showers. Was glad to finish and get to the train. -

That is top quality British planning and building for you. Would a gazebo do part of the job? The toilet situation could cause an issue. The other alternative is to see if The Meadows community centre at the Arbury MUGA would let us use their facilities and we just move the venue to the north of the city.

I am amazed that people are not thinking of doing the Dunwich Dynamo it would be an ideal opportunity to do a proper long ride. The worst thing about a long ride is the boredom and the aches you get after 100 miles or so. You also need to work on eating and drinking enough to keep going.
