Ok, having spoken to Josh at Polo last night I am going early Saturday morning (6am) to London with Josh and Devon. I presume we will then eat a large breakfast or in Devon's case a whole snickers bar before meeting the people who cycled up on the Friday. Hopefully we will be able to navigate the mean streets of London without getting punctures, mugged for our Rapha or lost before heading down to Brighton. The worst part of this will be getting through London. Once in Brighton we will find Devon a park to sleep in for the night whilst the rest of retire to a hostel. Josh and I spoke of leaving Brighton fairly early on the Sunday to get back to London by about midday or a bit later. Everything will be shut as it is Easter Sunday and has to be. From here I may get the train back to Cambridge depending on how I feel and the time. I do not intend to stay in London on the Sunday night.
What are other people doing? Is this doomed to fail? Do I need to cancel my order for a pink custom cashmere lined Rapha tarp?

If it is the easter bank holiday weekend I am in and will join Devon and Josh on the Cambridge-Brighton epic. Barndoor all the way to London then chill the last 55miles to Brighton.
Would like a hostel room though Bogey's choice of Hotel is good. Have stayed there before and it is very nice, he and Baker could have plenty of fun. -

I was speaking to the fox about producing a newspaper for the tournament using these people http://www.newspaperclub.co.uk/ it would cost £120 for 100 copies. I am going to give it a go with students on the New York trip to see what the quality is like but could be a good way of spreading the polo word and giving people the chance to get pictures, recipies, poems etc... published. Could even give a team preview of every team entered. I reckon we could get the cost covered by a number of local sponsers. I am happy to co-ordinate this given that I will miss the tournament. Any views?

A great turnout last night which no doubt swelled the slush fund for court hire. As discussed last there is a proposal for a two tier payment system which appeared to be agreed upon. This is as follows: Up to 9 players = £3 subs each, Over 9 players = £2 subs each. This is to reflect the reduced playing time available when the numbers are higher. This payment system will also allow monies to be carried over if/when numbers go down during the colder months.
If anyone has a major issue with this please let me or types know.
Anyway hopefully the turnout will remain high in the coming weeks. -

Sam, as you are aware I teach. After work is best probably without students is also best.
