This bike has been unridden for c. 10 years so I really should move it on, as much as it pains me.
Always wanted one of these after I saw them in Geoffrey Butler cycles as a kid.
I originally built it with modern kit and rode a few sportives, then changed it so as Sean Yates used to ride em.

Frame condition is great , no dents in tubes , and always kept inside , but some paint wear and tear damage , that could probably benefit from a light touch up .
Rear chainstay are full chrome which is a nice touch and spaced at 126cm .
Date code suggests 1992.

Group set is 7400 dura ace , with Ultegra headset , Ultegra hubs on cxp33 at 130mm spacing, which fit fine.
New chain and Cassette and rings little wear .

Brake levers are basically NOS, downtube shift levers are excellent condition, and single pivot calipers .

66 44 bars and 130 xa, but I have a 110 1A I can throw in
175 cranks with 53/39

Lovely bike and I should probably keep it as amazing to ride all day .
Bit of toe overlap with my size 10 feet.
I was going to stick a large ratio 10 or 11 speed cassette on the back, and run the shifters friction, having seen this.

Reality is I am more a mtber so will part ex for a nice larg 29er full sus, which I need a get old ..

Bike is in amazing condition for its age and fully original, tyres are different from how it came in the day , but are the modern version of the originals .
Saddle the other part I replaced but as per original
Cones with original pedals and toe clips .
Some scratches on components , cranks worst affected , and paint ok but was always flaky on these metal matrix frames .
Size 20 or large and fits me great at 6 foot .

I really need to sell some bikes , and this been sitting in loft for ages .

Think I might recognise this . Interesting to see stripped . Hopefully it gets another life , looks like you could fix that with a new seat lug . Be interested to see if anyone gets this fixed .

Yep you can the difference from the dropout on the catalogue photo above , looks much nicer than that millennium imho..

Look at those bullett end dropouts, that’s how you make them strong . Lovely for someone , but too small for me and I already have two Merckx’s..
