Yep we cut the top off in a Kosovo a cheeky shortcut to kiss out some road walking bits and I think we did 8 days as we were weather bound for a day.

Where are you going in balkans. We did peaks of the balkans walk a few years back and would definitely recommend. Think alps without the crowds.

Count me in if this turns into a social collective thing. Also wanted to own a bike shop, I could probably cover the vintage road bike/ mtb area with the amount of bike bits I have :)

The dn6 stuff they made them out of was very poor . Loved the geometry and rode/ raced the various ones I had for miles , but managed to kill two through down tube failure. Comparing the build quality to an old Marin frame for instance , inbred looks very poor .
