I know the sun is shining but rain and misery are always nearby.
This is old but does the job. Everything is adjustable. You take your front wheel off and mount on the front and the middle bit goes through the frame just behind the BB. All of the feet adjust too so you can get a very stable set-up. I used this for etape training a couple of years ago and apart from driving my girfriend mental with the noise it did the trick. There is no such thing as a quite Turbo as I have recently discovered.
I'm in Herne Hill and if anyone want to bring me £25 they can have it.

What an amazing day. Any interest in this before I do ebay?
I have this nice 531 FH Grubb for sale. Frame number: 7634 (made 10 before this one by the looks of it http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/bikes/grubb55-rb.html) It's 56cms Seat tube (ctt) and 57cms top tube (ctc). Dropouts 110mm rear, 100 front.
It's been recently enamelled leaving the nice chrome ends at the rear. The Grubb decals appear to be stickers, the red background of which do not exactly match the red of the paint but the overall look is okay. There is a small chip in the paint near the BB otherwise it's good. You could remove the stickers easily and replace with some better ones from lloyds. Lug lining would also finish this off nicely. It's straight and true with good threads and no known issues.
Happy to post. I'm in Herne Hill if anyone wants to come and have a look.

A nice smallish 531 Raleigh track frame with lovely chrome forks. It has campag ends front and back, is reynolds 531 and takes a 27.2 seat pin. The frame has been painted by hand. It smelt of paint when it arrived. I think the gent had decided to touch up a few bits and got carried away. Looks nice all the same (and no longer smells of dulux)
It measures 52 (CTT) seat and 54 (CTC) top tube. 120 rear drop outs.
I'm in Herne Hill if anyone wants to come and have a look. Happy to post. UK £20 more for overseas.
Looking for offers close to £200. Please PM.

Probs too late now but I caught up with a guy riding fixed in Stevenage on Saturday. Chucked a few words at eachother. He said he was just flying by and was cycling back to south London. Anyone from here? Didn't really see his bike. Think it was surly?? Massive bag and shades!
It was me Melv. I do that ride from my Mum's in Ashwell to Herne Hill in London every once in a while. it's good training. I was wondering if you took your bikes down to Bowes Lyon? I used to hang out there a lot with my skateboard. My bikes a 753 Whitcomb (not Witcomb) from the Wirral. Not surprised you couldn't see what it was - I hadn't cleaned it in 6 months. Good to put a name to face.
