Lovely Carlton Flyer, frame number 75705, also has P805 on the BB. Mudguard eyelets but no drilling for a rear brake. Nice lug lining detail particularly on the tops of the seat stays. Good condition with no dents or issues. Think this may be original paintwork too. One for the Carlton lovers. The stripes on the seat tube are electrical tape so can be easily taken off. Headset and BB included. £250 odd would be nice.
Seat tube 60cms ctt, top tube 57 ctc
Come and have a look at it. I'm in Herne Hill.
Looking more closely I can see that the paintwork has been touched up in places.

Not sure what model this is but you'll find it here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/nkilgariff/
It's late 50's / 60's with nice lugwork. I've had a few Holdsworths but not seen this design before. It has an unusual Seat stay detail (see bit near seat tube). It's also different to most of their track / path frames in that this one is not drilled for a rear brake and has no mudguard eyelets at the rear.I've wiped it over but the lug lining and BB area will come up nice with some effort. There's a dent in the seattube, it's not major and looks like a dimple. The frame has been touched up with paint over the years and there's chips etc but otherwise it all looks good.
Seat tube is 57 ctt, top tube 58 ctc. 110 / 100 drops. Built for 27's but clearance, particularly at the rear is tighter than most.
Would like £210. I'm in Herne Hill so feel free to come and have a look at it.

I've got this wheelset for sale.
They're 36 hole Miche Primato track hubs on Mavic A119 & T221 (similar but not exactly the same). A 16 tooth 1/8th cog, lock ring, rim tape, inner tubes and Schwalbe Blizzard tyres. These wheels must have done about 10 miles. 120mm rear hub spacing. £95 Collection from Herne Hill. -

Nice pic and a nice old Stronglight chain set I see.
I've used allsort in the past - Brasso wool, rags and nail polish remover. I used to clean my old Chrome BMX with wire wool but it scratched the chrome and the rust would come back worse. My friend works with metal and gave me some 0000 grade wire wool. It's the finest stuff you can get and it doesn't scratch. It works a treat. I have some cranks that I need to polish a scratch out of. He suggested working down from 0, 00 to 0000 to finish. I've just bought a dremmel but not used it yet.
Planning to ebay this tomorrow.
