If you think it's a conservative country now, just wait another 20 years. Liberals concentrated in metro areas aren't going to flip the senate. Heavily gerrymandered districts give them a ~6% handicap for the Congress and Electoral College, not to mention a conservative Supreme Court that supresses voting.

I expect a second Trump term then a change, but if anyone is expecting America to come to her senses and join the rest of the progressive world.. that a never going to happen. The country is split, with half the population clinging to history and religion (Christianity + Founding Fathers) - and the electoral system tilts in their favor.

Is LED any better? Hmm probably not if plain AC powered. Guess it depends on layout but I'd probably want something like an light strip behind each machine, and something portable like the lamp in front. Hate shadows getting in the way.
