Btw do you really reckon you'll be able tot rue my wheel tonight? It's pretty subtle but I hate riding with a dodgy wheel and I completely lost track of how tight each spoke is etc? :S

Any wheel truers coming tomorrow night? My wheel needs to be trued for roundness and straightness. It's off centered (side to side) and slightly oval...

To be fair it's pretty hard to damage a car's paintjob with soft material...face or rucksak. I can't think of the number of times I've slapped the hood of a driver revving his engine or inching towards me as I crossed a road. No damage but lots of noise.

I was thinking of doing it that way..probably easier to get on but I'm determined I'll make it someday! May need to get my front wheel trued though...did a bosh job earlier but it's off centered now and I've lost track of how far in my spokes are..-__-

Many thanks to Daveray for this one, summer bike. I'm well chuffed with it... the Colnago's been retired.

Went with a 650 front in the end, chunky. The rear wheel needs deflating to remove (0.5mm of clearance on the bridge), it rides beautifully.
I expect it'll get more DA upgrades as and when I find bargains.
