Er... I have to admit I'm a bit confused - but that isn't difficult...
I don't mind the mounting screws for the rods missing as I guess these are fairly easy to find (Clerkenwell Screws maybe?), but will need the mounting brackets that go on the frame itself. So as long as there's a guard, rods and brackets for front and rear then all cool.

Great day's ride - thanks to everyone. Really cool that everyone stayed grouped and no boy racers split off. I think Nick's Garmin and gears clearly demonstrated the advantages of modern bicycle engineering technology on some of those hills - it was just relentless towards the end! Top props to Bob Jackson fixed brakeless dude. And now I can say I have visited the Most Expensive Pie In The World pub...

Really, have a bash yourself. I only started trying to do this myself a little while ago - you get the hang of tweaking after a while - just take your time and only make minor adjustments at a time. Nice to know there's one less thing you have to rely on your LBS for. And if your wheels needs doing anyway, why not take the opportunity to have a fiddle - if you totally f@ck it up you'll be spending the money anyway?

I actually find bus drivers to generally be pretty cool. Sounds like this guy needs reporting though, he might think twice about losing his rag next time. Also, did you ball the guy out, or point out reasonably that he put you in danger? In situations like this I try to leave the motorist feeling a bit more love towards cyclists rather than winding them up - they're less likely to be gunning for the next cyclist they come across?
25c's - 95 rear, 90 front. I used to run around 110, but this feels so much nicer...
