Dont forget if you see your stolen goods and feel uncomfortable for the impeding confrontation(which is unlikely to go your way unless you are Mr T]) there are cops there now that are there to help you. the duty officer should be reachable on 07768 928 456 and i'm sure he/she can help. Save this number on your phone before you go there!
For a recent stolen parts sucess story see here
Posted this in another thread as well, but just had my brooks swift nicked from Bunhill row... I'm aiming to do the usual Brick lane wander this Saturday, but what sort of time do I actually need to be there? I know the market starts early, but are the thieving little shits really there at the start or is it more like mid-morning?
It is this one

in case anyone feels like keeping an eye out... it has a distinctive sag, as discussed in this thread!

Your crank arm's taper is probably fucked. The more you are tightening it the worse it will get and you'll get more and more play.
had the same prob and ^ was the problem. it will get worse over time if ^ is the problem and it might start destroying your taper on the bb in which case you'll end up having to change both bb and arm.

Is there a decent reason why you would make a frame out of 4 different types of tubing:

for the basic version of that, essentially same design but with elastic straps rather than leather its 225-240USD depending on whether you want the small or medium. Add customs and shipping and you are looking at 200GBP. a bit steep need to find me a second hand bargain unlikely as it may be. thing is i think the ostrich is a bit to wide and not the right colour. i am a stuck with mercian baby blue.

modern brake shifter + monplanar brake = doesn't work that well, feel quite hard to pull (and brake cable has been changed).
phil - ostrich bag, they're a lots cheaper than the berthoud one (by nearly half price) and appear to function better, especially with the hook making it easier to open while riding as oppose to undoing the strap, the downside is that they're harder to get.
