58cm c2c, 56cm top tube.

OK, late 80s or early 90s full carbon Look with what I expect is original 105 groupset (Dura Ace headset). 3ttt bars and stem. No pedals, (cracked) Turbo saddle. New bar tape!!!
Italian BB and horizontal drop outs so could be converted to fixed. You could even do this

to it if you've got the time and the skills...I bought this in the spring and loved riding it all summer and then went back to my trusty old steel steed so this is now for sale.
It's a very early full carbon Look with classic Look paint job. It's light and smooth but strong and fast.
1 bottle cage bolt spins so the cage can't easily be removed, otherwise everything works as it should. I've cleaned and serviced it thoroughly looking for problems and there are chips in the paint but no dents or cracks or anything.
£300 collected from Brighton.
Shipping to be discussed.
Just to clarify, it's currently in original Look grey and primary colours, not bare carbon and ali like in the second pic.

WTB Solano folding tyres seem to have only good reviews and are a bargain at chainreaction at the mo. I've just got a pair and can confirm that they are definitely tyres but I've not ridden them yet so can't say any more.

As you all know Unless you're willing to pay £££ kids bikes nowadays are build to last 6 months and then be thrown in landfill.
This bike has already lasted over 40 years and it still runs perfectly and looks amazing.
I bought it off a man who learned to ride on it in France in the 60s, it had been in storage ever since. He said it was a bit special back then... I've serviced it, replaced the cables, greased everything up and it's now available for sale.
It's a 15" frame with 20" wheels and is most suitable for someone between 7 and 9 years but it obviously depends on height and leg length and so on.
As far as I know everything is original except the brake cables.
Everything works as it should.
The paint is lug lined and looks like it's from the 60s (because it is) but it's sound and the frame's not rusty. The chrome parts (rack and handlebars) are also quite pitted but still look fine.
Check out the routing of the brake cables in the handlebars!!
Please only buy it if you can store it out of the rain, I'd hate to think of it rusting in someone's garden after all these years.
Frame fitting pump included.
Perfect first bike!!!
There's an disk of metal above the stem engraved with what I assume is the name and address of the bike builder (see pic).
Any questions, please ask.
£50 + post or collect from Brighton.

Nice one, thanks very much for the info.
I assume the 105 groupset is original then if it's a lower end offering. I've seen the same frame built up with 600 and dura ace stuff so wasn't sure where it stood.
I thought the numbers were chronological rather than higher meaning better, I stand corrected.
Cheers!

Hello.
I want to date my Look KG56 and have so far failed. I've UTFS, I've asked Google, I've even emailed Look, all to no avail.
So, one of you lot must know eh? Google shows links to a no longer available forum on the Look site that might have thrown something up but it's gone.
While I appreciate any time taken to respond, answers like "late 80s or early 90s" are not of much good.
Links to retro Look resources would be welcome too.
I know it's got gears, it also has horizontal drops so may well become fixed or SS one day.
Cheers!

Got a pair of drilled chrome track forks with mangled crown (why oh why would you braze the crown race on?!?). The crown's a bit tarnished, probably from when they brazed the crown race on!?!
Dunno if they're any use to anyone? I assume they can be refaced or something? Short steerer too - 117mm, 31mm threaded.
tenner posted?
