After spending the winter playing around with different chain ring/cog combinations i've decided to settle on 42/14 which is about 80 gi. I've no problems skidding or accelerating and it gives me a comfortable cruising speed.

while i agree with you, that is in the area of private morality and detracts from the issue, that the upholder of the law's actions where fundementally unlawful

if he felt threatened, then i think it would be justified, no? if he was trying to calm the situation as quickly and as effectively as he thought best, then isn't that the right thing to do?

feels so threatened that he hides/removes his identification number, beforehand. Indeed that is the instinctual and quick reaction to a threat.
