Can anyone recommend a shoe (for use with ATAC Alium pedals) for someone who can't afford Sidi Dominators?
I just picked up a pair of sixsixone experts off ebay for very cheap - £28. granted, I've only had them for 2 days, but I like them and they are comfortable and stiff. durability is only the question now.

good luck trying to do that with a chain that isnt laying on the ground...if your chain is short enough or if you wrap it snuggly, a thief would have difficulty getting the proper angle to use long bolt cutters.
and if a thief is using 4' bolt cutters, they probably are driving around in a van where they have the powertools to slice through any d-lock.
a quality d-lock, in my opinion, is 100% necessary. adding a chain or a quality cable just makes things more difficult since a thief would require two different tools and more time. difficulty and time is the name of the game. nothing is foolproof.

I want to get a fahgettaboutit 3" chain and cut it in half to just about over a foot long to reduce the weight/size and use it in conjunction with a d lock when im locking up out-of-sight for longer periods of time. I figure the smaller weight would make it easier to keep in my bag - if my calculations are correct, it would only weigh 3lbs which about what a quality d lock weighs.

I'm 6'1, so what size frame should I be looking for?
I'm on a giant pug conversion at the mo, its too big, the headtube is as long as my arm.use this fit calculator for a general idea: http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTRO
