Tubular Campagnolo Shamals with Campag 9 speed freehub.
I'm selling these to buy some clinchers. They would come up nicely with a polish. I've taken a picture of a small crack on the rear rim - this hasn't moved since I've had the wheels. Plenty of life in braking surface.
Sold with Continental Giro tubs (200 miles) and without the cassette (and the bike's not for sale!) - ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT pick up SW London or I could deliver to Waterloo/ South Bank.

I never liked my Frogglegs. I thought the build quality was so-so, pad quality was severely poor and the design quite dated. Tried some Tektro in the frogglegs style (standard on a Giant CX bike), and they were much better imo. The arms were cast instead of being two plates pressed on to brass, the bridge was much stronger, pad mounting easily adjusted. Also, everything was allenkey where the Frogglegs are still using hex nuts. With the Tektro the springs can be screw adjusted (as you do on a V-brake
Thanks for this - really useful. I've been wondering what to replace the Frogglegs with on my S-Works Tricross and the Tektro sound ideal. The Frogglegs are spongy and next to useless.
According to the Zepnat website you can also adjust the angle of the pads on the Tektros, which, unbelievably, isn't possible on the Frogglegs

A long shot maybe, but I'm hoping to find the first three issues of The Ride Journal as I've fallen in love with it. Issues 1 and 2 can be read online, but I'm hankering for the smell of paper.
I'm hoping to avoid the high prices asked unsuccessfully on eBay, but please get in touch if yours are gathering dust.

I've bought a Ti Raleigh 531 frame and want to run it singlespeed while I gradually collect parts for a contemporary geared rebuild. I have a 9 speed Chorus chainset which I hope to adapt to singlespeed use.
The BB shell is 68mm. From my research I know I need an English thread BB and I think I need a 102mm axle for the Chorus chainset (I'd welcome help with that).
Should I therefore be looking for an English thread BB with 102mm square taper axle? I ask because most BBs available seem to be at least 110mm axle and I'm having a crisis of confidence - 102mm seems short in comparison. Thanks.
