I live in a town in suburbs of manchester and have many.... odd characters. Most famous of all Market Dave! Rag and bone man, Legend of Altrincham. Unfortunatly no one has heared his shouting or seen his "pimp mobile cart" for probably a year or so now since I believe he fell over while taking a piss on the way home from ol' pub n cracked his skull. "I came home to find my wife in bed with Market Dave"

This is scary because I remember Market Dave in Altrincham back in the ealry seventies when he wandered around on market day doing errands for stallholders and shouting, "it's market day today". I too heard he disappeared recently but understand that he was assulted by some yobs - I hope he's OK.

Why would a firm of estate agents want a £17 fork?

God I want this so badly.

Why would such a track bike have a Strada chainset rather than Pista? Or is there nothing significant in that?

Thanks all - it's definitely a 27mm - it's a Colombus tubed Colnago Super now SS/fixed.

Would be happy with aero or other as long as it's silver and gives at least 16cm between rails and limit mark. Was wanting something suitable in style for an eighties bike.

I've just broken a (rather expensive) Campy Nuovo Record rubber brake lever hood trying to fit it. One went on well, but the other didn't - is there a foolproof (I need it) method for fitting these? I can't find any instructions online. Thanks.
