I don't know a great deal but aren't the Schlecks rubbish in the TTs?
They're not the best. But a TT in the third week is a hard one to gauge, as any natural advantage a good time triallist may have is negated somewhat by all the climbing they've done. I'd expect that the time gaps tomorrow will be less than many expect.
Some interesting weather though! The Schlecks did some special TT-training with Bobby Julich and especially Andy should have gained from this.
chapeau F Schleck, and you were voted the worst descender in the peloton, too..

Epic stage!
It's not Thor who should be proud of the green jersey, It's the green jersey that should be proud sitting on a rider that rides the way Thor does (the green jersey is all about collecting points on many different milestones, not just stage-finish sprints).
The Schleck adventure were announced prior to the race and they made the 'miracle' actually happen.
One of the more spectacular TDF performances ever! IMHONice damage control by the Garmin team (and Nibali), but unfortunately they dragged Armstrong along (Armstrong who stays behind until he is certain to make it to the top of the climbs before opening up, I guess).
has anyone got anything left to challenge contador with?
Except from the Schlecks/Riis (ohh sorry, and Sastre) nobody dare to gamble a nice raking to challenge him. Taking the wheel of the yellow jersey and see were it leads to, is simply to lame IMHO.
The Schlecks won't settle for second, so expect more racing on Saturday ;-) -
More fun to look out for:
Instead of the attack/counter attack strategy The Schleck Brothers will try to ride/attack together (with the blessing of Bjarne Riis).http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/20072009/3/schleck-ready-die-yellow-jersey-cause.html
the tour doesn't need lance, and is better off without him and his cronies, i can't blame the french for wanting shot of him. he is a self publicising egotistical prick who thinks he's bigger than cycling and bigger than the tour.
+1 !

Reminds me of how I learned to love watching the tour - spotting nice sites for hang gliding.
I have not flown at Annecy myself, but It sure looks beautiful.

Spend all my time trying to 'give good head' and now I'm told it's shit. Damn you coffee geeks, damn you!
When it comes to things like the taste of coffee and design of a bike you have to trust yourself.I have always disliked the taste of crema so I'm having a ball ;-)
No more Latte Art then?
One way to save the day would be to mix the shot (skimmed or not) with a little milk before pouring:

A/ Espresso with or without milk at home - tea at work.
B/ No over-dosing! First part of the pour is getting trough a little faster and the shot blonds more smoothly, giving the coffee a different taste profile. I also find a self healing effect when it comes to channeling.
C/ I originally saved up for a Speedster, but ...
A Linea? Apart from steaming I don't think I did any compromises there! -
GS3, Probat; fucking hell Jacob you got a nice selection of kit
Oh the Probat is sold! - Now that I'm not doing drip/press-pot and have easy access to super blends, I have dropped out on home roasting all together.People like you and Ross should probably pay more attention to the 'light tamp' part ;-)
I prefer to do a few thinks right, rather than try to do everything - I don't have 5 bikes, a super Hifi-setup and the latest DSLR.

I did the same thing riding a vintage motor-bike - the hole car actually acted as a giant airbag!
As Peter Hammill (one of my favorite song writers) put it:
"No protection on a motor-bike, sooner or later the normal traffic's gonna get you"
