pair of NOS Ambrosio splitter tub rims, 18h
http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=54358 -
As I got rid of my TT rig, I need to make my Lo-Pro faster for this year... So these bits are being replaced with more aero bits:
Non-machined, black Velocity Deep-V, radially laced to a black Planet-X pista front hub (100mm)with 32 double-butted, black spokes.
£60 or £75 with continental tyre and tubeOR
Pair of non-machined, black Velocity Deep -V rims, rear 3 cross, front radial, each with 32 black double-butted spokes to black Planet-X pista hubs(100mm/120mm). Including 15 tooth track sprocket and Gusset lockring.
£140 or £160 with continental tyres and tubesThe wheels are in very good condition, bar a tiny scratch on the front rim where someone leant a pedal against it on the train. They were only built up a few hundred miles ago, and are well looked after. The sealed bearings are silky-smooth, and they will be trued before the sale (spokes are nicely bedded in now too, so they should stay true for a good while). I'm an experienced, ex-professional bike mechanic and wheel-builder, so you know they'll be sweet! before anyone asks: I don't want to sell the rear on it's own, as it would be a useful wheel for rollers or training, and I have spare fronts floating about already. Neither wheel has been braked on.
Poyner, handmade, lugged track forks with nice tyre clearance (700x25c is the absolute limit), and proper, tight track geo. They have been drilled to accept a brake by the precious owner. Nice red paint work, with black fork-ends. The steerer is 4 3/4" long, so they would suit a Lo-Pro with a 700c front wheel, or a small track bike.
£35Identiti T-4, 27.2mm dia, 350mm long, inline seatpost, in Black. A few insertion marks upto about an inch above the min-insertion line, so you won't see them once it's in the frame, unless you have it at full extension (and it's very long, so you probably won't!)
£12All the parts are on this bike

All prices include postage from Suffolk. Additional fees will apply if you want anything shipped abroad.

I was asked to take some photos of some of my work for the application for the above boat, and as they're all together in one place, I thought I might as well share them on here too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/samdoman/sets/72157625882032515/with/5428909419/
There wasn't much to take photos of, as the work has either been finished and taken away, or I couldn't get to it because the boats were being worked on. There's a few bits and pieces here anyway.

I've decided I want a pair of Spinergy Rev-X wheels for this bike, as they're significantly faster than 32 spokes for TTing. I've already got a rear one, so I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in a trade (possibly with a bit of cash to even things out): My wheelset for a front Spinergy Rev-X (which must be in good condition).
Description of the wheels from my other thread:
Pair of non-machined, black Velocity Deep -V rims, rear 3 cross, front radial, each with 32 black double-butted spokes to black Planet-X pista hubs(100mm/120mm). Including 15 tooth track sprocket and Gusset lockring.

I know there are a few front Rev-X wheels floating about on the forum, so I thought it was worth a punt.
