This is heading my way.

All SLX, all Campag, and all in amazing condition. I won't make any drastic changes to begin with, maybe replace the bar tape, tyres, and cable-outers with black ones. That's only cosmetic though. Might look out for a pair of Shamals/Ventos/Zondas for it at some point in the future, as a 'Sunday best' wheelset!Check out the chrome-paint fade:

Hello,
I wasn't sure where was best to post this, and I couldn't find an answer using the search function. Basically, I have recently purchased a bike, with full Campagnolo groupset, including these pedals:

I believe them to be part of the Athena range, but I used to have a very similar looking pair, which were either Chorus or Record. I know the ones I had before use Look cleats (KEO, I think), but if anybody can give these pedals a positive identification, and knows what cleats they use, it will be very useful, so I can order the right ones and use them as part of the original groupset.
Thanks,
Sam -

i have a nice pinarello alloy bike.
full campa veloce.
ST: 57,5 c-c
TT: 57 c-cpics in an hour...
495 pounds...plenty of money left to give to the poor.
That sounds absolutely perfect. I would love to see pictures of that. Would you be happy to box it up if I can arrange a courier to collect it? Thanks.

Do you not like this ?

Buy this...
I was looking at that, and although it's an absolutely amazing price, it's slightly on the big side for me, and I can't stretch to it. £800 is all the money I have. I'd have to find another £50 for the bike, then another lump of money to get it over here. I'll almost certainly go for it if I can scrape a few more pennies together, and it's still available, unless anything else comes up!

I need a geared bike for training and recreational riding out here in Mallorca, for when the yacht I'm working on is in Palma, out of season. I'm open to modern, or older stuff, but I want something pretty high-end, and in good shape. Ideally I'd like the seller to ship it out to where I'm living now, but I understand if this is inconvenient, and would be fine with it being sent to my parents house in the UK.
I'm 6'1", and normally ride a 58 or 59cm c-t frame, with a 57 or 58cm c-c toptube.
Please show me what you've got!

A shot from a test roll, that I stuck through an OM10 (which hasn't been used for years, but still has perfect light seals, and perfect shutter speeds), which I recently inherited from my Grandma. The G.Zuiko 50mm/f1.4 is super sharp, compared to my Canon FD 50mm/f1.4, really impressed with the quality of the glass and camera, having never used olympus SLRs before.

This is just in my bedroom, and was lit with an anglepoise. Sorry for the quality of the scan, it's jsut a Maplins cheapo scanner, that I use so I can archive jpgs of each frame i shoot on my laptop.
It obviously looks much sharper and more detailed in print. -

same as boatshoes really. Why would anyone war shoes without socks?
I take it you mean deck shoes? I wear them without socks, because that's how they're supposed to be worn. Socks get wet and salty, and feel horrible. The whole point is that the leather is soft and comfortable next to your skin, even when it's wet. It lets your feet breathe, and it dries fast.
*I only ever wear them for sailing.

I'm living in Palma now, and I've got a geared road bike out here, and my pursuit bike is still back in the uk, however, they're both too nice to leave locked up in the town, as stuff gets pinched from bikes all the time. I don't want to bring my pursuit bike out, because it looks to flashy to leave locked up, but I think another track bike would be ideal as a get-around, and I want it to be decent quality stuff, but it doesn't need to be smart looking, as it's just going to be my hack for getting round town.
Ideally a 58cm, lugged frame, undrilled, and a upto £500.
