It's a custom painted pompino (large) with matching carbon colnago cx forks (repaired and reinforced), built with thomson stem and post, king headset, rival cranks, GT BMX race hubs with 120 engagement points and sealed bearings, built onto kinlin 270 rims, and 28 revolution spokes per wheel (really nice wheel set) Tektro canto brakes and levers, Deda bars, NOS Flite saddle. Anything considered. Sealed hubs/double walled rims ideally. No brakez/no raking surfaced needed, so track wheels are fine. Must be clinchers.

34t up front, and I stuck a 14t sprocket on for flat woodland/gravel blasting, but will up it to a 16t for cx duties. Think I'll probably just add an extra chain link and change to the 16t, and leave it at that though.

I went for the bowl of warm water, iodine and a large non-stick plaster. Followed by Codeine-to-the-eyeballs. Its taken a pretty major chunk out of the nail bed. The rest doesn't really hurt that much in comparison.

I used to work at the Specialized concept store in Melbourne, so was obliged to ride their bikes. I had a 'Crave SL', which I rode completely stock (apart from changing the hubs to Hope Pro2s, and fitting some wider riser bars)

I stuck my finger in the spinning cutter of a router. How do I fix it, internet?

might be right about the dropouts. nothing that a half-link won't fix though!

Just finished putting this together (see hhssscxb in 'current projects for more details)
Needs a half link to gain some mud clearance, then it's fully ready to go. Blasted some gravel paths along the river last night and it rides just how I'd hoped it would.

I need to sort out the line of the front-edge of the pink paint, on the forks. It looked right when the for was alone, but fitted to the bike it visually sweeps back too much, towards the crown. Easy to fix though.

And the saddle is slightly nose-down. It's easier to notice these things; looking at the photos.

C'est Fin (sort of). I need to find a 3/32" half link. Does such a thing exist? It rides really well. Happy with everything, except the non-existent mud clearance on the rear tyre and seat-tube. A whole link is too much.
