What a poor show today, not a drop of rain and the sun was out- just me and Josh showed so ended up having a knockabout and hanging with the little chav kids! Someone threw a bottle at us from the trees and showered the court in glass too.

Gutted I missed out on polo yesterday- I somehow ended up at Warning drum and bass night on Saturday and ended up a little worse for wear come Sunday- so worse for wear that all I could do to take the pain away was to sleep for 24 hours.

Does anyone have a cheapish rear wheel suitable for my polo bike, ideally a track hub rather than a suicide-type arrangement, but beggars can't be choosers..... I need something sorted for the Euros after Braley finished my one off at the tournament!

What an awesome day! I'm so glad everything worked out, that it stayed relatively dry and that we didn't get any hassle from the residents or police or anyone. Great to meet everyone and hang out, especially the 1/3rd of West Polo Albion and the Manchester dudes we had staying at ours and the Newcastle chaps at the Sunday throw-ins, shame I was either so drunk or too hungover across the weekend to either play properly or hold a coherent conversation with anyone!

Again a massive thanks to Matt, Harvey, Will and Rick for doing all the logistical stuff- Oliver, Bogey and Barney for the cakes and everyone else from all over the UK for coming down to play in our little city

Bogey- I'd say it's the players responsibility to bring along their own water, we're not their mothers! Cake/tea etc will be awesome though- are we still thinking of doing a bbq too??

Ahh you were Eddie's mate with the Raleigh! Thursday is generally about 15-20 miles, but a 'fast' group and a 'leisure' group develop within the first few miles. Sometimes people don't even bother with the riding and just get drunk at the pub, come along

Hello people- can someone bring a crank extractor, a chain tool and anything else necessary to swap over a chainset to polo tomorrow. I am mechanically retarded so anyone who can help me out will be paid in beer(s). Fingers crossed my new polo pony is going to get it's first outing, 33-18 ratio and a brake!
