The bridge on must be shopped no? Surely some of you lot can tell me, from the pixels, and from having seen many shops in your time?
Difficult to tell with such low res shots, to be honest though its pretty basic stuff removing harnesses etc from skies/windows, I could do it with my eyes shut and i'm no Dave Hill..... www.davehillphoto.com

I wonder whats more painful for him though, falling in the bath....or realising that he is nothing more than an exceptionally mediocre excuse for a fine-art photographer who has an inflated perception of his own photographic skills, and thinks that his desperate attention seeking measures can somehow translate as art?
Wank, not impressed. -
Yeah - he told me that a jar with the Crystal tube in it is much better than using the humidifier pad that comes with the jar, as the tube keeps it at 70%, whereas the pad just keeps moisture in there and it is easy to over or under humidify, and you have to be careful with it - hence Killner jar 4 quid down the hardware store and the tube at 9 quid makes a good little package
Apparently you can put the tube straight in without adding water, then after a couple of months the level of the crystals goes down - when it reaches the line on the side of the tube you put some water in till its topped up, then repeat again every couple of months. I like the fact that you know its giving off 70%.
Yep I bought one from there, and the guy couldn't big it up enough, he said as long as you are not looking to age the cigar then these in a jar/container that seals well are perfect.
So I got one of these and a Plastic lunch box that seals well, I did however buy one of the schwaaeeeet xikar travel humidors, very happy with that.
I have to admit though, I am ever more drawn to the idea of a proper humidor, they do look stunning....maybe next year :) -

I also have a cold/sore throat crap to deal with right now, if you're up for dropping off tomorrow at SE's would be good to collect my Cohibas, doubt I will be smoking for similar reasons though, it seems like everyone around me is ill at the moment!
Can make it down there for just after 7 probably. -

Above image was the one I got from your link?
I put the wrong image up, didn't check the link after I posted it, spent 10 minutes arguing my point whilst being wrong, then put the correct image up but still look like a numpty because I tried to make my point with the wrong image initially.
Let me know if I missed anything there ^ -

cheers edscoble and mrsmyth,
got a flash off a friend and am borrowing the rest from a studio.
crazyjames, thanks for your concern.
A Silver/White umbrella, and one of these will give you a cheap versatile set-up thats quick and easy to put together, a reflector and or foamboard/polystyrene for use as a scrim/reflector can help a lot too.
Should all be relatively cheap but give you a few options, you can even use the umbrella box as effective on axis fill by just standing in front of it, but it makes an equally good key light, that will give you as close a look as you can get to an Octa-box for under £100, which is really popular for fashion use.
Hope thats of some help. -

I hope your Archie's bag is big enough to carry these then, because that hole you're digging is getting deeper and deeper.
Yeah...actually I got the Theo, which is the biggest one they do, not sure I can fit a ladder in though.......

Well as someone who has owned a Pac Ultimate, and who now owns an Archies bag similar to the one above except bigger, I can tell you it DOES have an X-strap, and the only difference between the archies and the Pac X-strap (construction quality and buckles used etc aside), is the Archies straps have more padding.
They both fit and secure themselves around the body in exactly the same manner, you really are talking out of your arse.

Tut tut...
2 crashes on the road this year, one relatively minor which involed a white van deciding to suddenly pull a U-turn out of stationary traffic without indicating, so I decided the side of his lovely van and his wing mirror would be a nice place to rest my shoulder whilst he was in the mood to try and kill me.
The other one caused by a numpty on a dutch shopper coming the wrong way up a one way street after nippin out of an alley way whilst I was mid-turn into the corner, I could have swerved and completely avoided her, but frankly I didn't fancy smacking up the pedestrians either side on the relatively small pieces of pavement.
For the record I have only had 2 other crashes on the roads whilst riding around London in 10 years, one was my own stupidity, and no one but myself and the car I hit were injured, and the other one was mechanical failure (cog thread stripped on my well used and abused formula rear hub at the time), which hurt a lot.
There's people on here who have had more crashes than that this year alone....i'm naming no names ;)
