^ this, a thousand times. it's just grist to the populist mill to claim that by taxing the top UHNWI will change anything.
Corporate tax is where it is but you also have to balance that by making it affordable for corporates to have their hqs in the UK as too draconian and they will fly. You would still rather have their receipts than not. It's a difficult balancing act

Surely you can't write Cav off after the two years he's had. Sure he hasn't won much but he's been ill for months, hasn't completed a grand tour for ages and sprinters need the form and miles in the legs. He is still probably the greatest sprinter to have ridden the tour and can still win the odd stage or two in a Mcewen style as there's no way his lead out train can match the others. He's always been happy to ditch his lead out if there's a better wheel in the past, this year might just be a bit soon for him after having such a stop start career for the last two years.

exactly right. You may get lucky here or there but more often than not if you try and spend less, you will often have to replace poor/worn out components or tyres soon enough which can be fairly expensive. As said above, £300 should be enough for a decent bike to get you around town, its not alot but should suffice

^ yup that sounds just right for you @louven
Drop the seller a PM and give it a test ride before you buy, maybe bring an allen key multi tool with you so you can adjust the seat post for yourself.
Good luck and have fun riding!
