Ha!....me, a hipster?... never!
and it's not a campag hat it's a lunch4you hat, more hipster points you see.
was that you with the roadie, who appeared to be a living advert for Rapha?Aye, twas me n me mate Andy on his new Condor. Don't worry, I tore strips off him for his attire. Those leg-warmers-on-the-arms things are a bridge too far if you ask me...
I'm counting that as my first spot - go me!

i think they are just a bit pissed of with tits going in and not having a clue about what they are talking about
Everyone has to start somewhere - you also knew fuck all about trendy cycling fads once...
My twopenneth: I have been into BLB 3 times and spent the princely sum of £2 - this was for them to remove a stuck bottom bracket for which my LBS wanted to charge me £12. On the other occasions they have cut and capped some brake cables for me and also tightened my cog and lockring, refitted the wheel and tensioned the chain, all free of charge despite offers of money. So I think they're pretty fucking nice.

Does London have any kind of annual ghost bike ride? Pretty sure NY does. I think something to bring attention to how many cyclists lose their lives on London's streets is needed. How about having a proportion of riders involved wearing only white- 'ghost riders'- representing the lost lives? I'll happily sign a petition but wonder if they ever really achieve anything...
Was going to suggest the same thing for this 'wall of bikes' protest: all wear white, maybe some fucked up ghost masks, absolute silence, messages on placards only.

I know its above your budget but if you are serious about your work, Eizo are one of the industry standard brands pretty much, probably the best monitors out there IMO, I would only ever use their monitors personally. Save up and spend the money, it'll be the last monitor you purchase for years.
I am serious about it but not at a level where I can justify (or afford) a £1,000+ monitor! Could get a whole 24" iMac for that... There is one Eizo for £300 ish which I'll have a look at.
Thanks for the help, all.

I am getting more into photography and am particularly keen to learn more post-production techniques. My 4-year-old Dell laptop has a knackered (working) screen so I'm looking to upgrade. The laptop itself is actually okay - it was spec'd up to the max when I got it - and I have a large external HD, so I could stick with that for the time being. I know there are lots of pro and keen amateur photographers on here so would appreciate some advice:
Recommendations for a monitor, 20" +, around £200
OR
Should I put up with my current set-up for now and get an iMac in a year or so?

Flaming cock puke, Tynan's brakeless and Russell's life behind bars
For me, these are awesome x
+1. I would probably buy one of each!
To whoever will be sourcing the actual t-shirts: I don't know about anyone else but how tees fit is really important to me. I hate ordering t-shirts online - good ol' size M arrives and it's like wearing a fucking mini-dress. I am not a rapper.

Another tragic loss... I ate at a place in Vic Park Village a few weeks ago and there was a really dodgy-looking crew of yoot circling around on their bikes, eyeballing other bikes and generally being quite intimidating. I used to go there a lot when I lived in Mile End and don't remember it being bad but now I hear of a lot of theft and attempted muggings around there...

That would be great - cheers. Yeah can meet you wherever. I'm on 07813336686 or send me your number and i'll call to arrange.
