^i'd have to be powerful for that to happen! Think what you describe is effect of poor contact point. Not often feet slip off a decent grippy pedal.

Ouch sounds painful. I run two brakes on the beater so not been concerned about feet slipping off or owt, rightly or wrongly.

^ Yeah bunch of loners! I guess I was as guilty as any, was hard to juggle Tri training, work, and riding out - especially as weekends were not really happening for me once I started heading to Manchester.
My BMX track? down the towpath that me and my mates started with a single jump when I was 10 (i'm now 23) it's now been upscaled to the level where no one rides it, which is a shame. Or the skate park in Beduth?
Greyhound is the best pub in the area...and my local, so if you can have a 'rideout' to this area why cant you come play Polo? hrmph sulks

Greyhound is lovely, especially in summer.

Edit - another highlight was mine and Steve's treck across fields to get to a pub in Berkswell. Happy days.

Allthough my faves were when 4 of us went to the BMX track then ended up at the Greyhound for a drink, or the time me and Joe headed out to Wroxhall one Sunday evening.

^ maybe tricky to puncture them, but from experience very easy to slice through the valve when removing said track pump in a hurry.

I had a quick look last night but didn't post, will now tho. An entry level - Sora - Cannondale costs somewhere 6-800 notes. Assuming it's in good order and not crashed, 250 second hand isn't bad (it's not bargain, but don't feel ripped off). If it's specced higher once you get to look it over, then your deal just got better.

Said it before, I race RLJ'ers with the jump being their headstart. There's nowt like being the legs on a squeaky brompton rattling past a RLJ'ing nodder or fixy skidder / brakeless SS'er around here. Quite often they wait with me at the next red (maybe it's the heavy breathing scaring them though?).

You'd need to tweak days and percent to make workable, but just an idea.
