I had an M135i for a few years (a ‘14 plate 5 dr). It was fantastic! With decent tyres on it had plenty of grip on both dry and wet roads. Completely normal to drive in town, with an angrier more exciting side revealed in Sport mode when you wanted it. For a car that size, it was quick!
Some suspension tweaks were going to be my first upgrade to make the car more settled on bumpy roads, but then I sold it and moved abroad.
The few things that weren’t so great were the relatively small rear legroom and boot. Totally fine for a couple though.
Be sure to get one that has proper Bluetooth connectivity and some options. A lot were specced super low on cheap lease deals. The m140i is meant to be a step up interior wise, more powerful engine and prettier looks.

I’ve literally just started learning to mix. Bought myself the Pioneer DDJ SR2 decks and decided to use Djay Pro 2 software rather than the Serato licence that comes with them. Reason? Integration to Spotify means an almost endless music collection already organised into my own playlists. Of course, this does have the disadvantage of needing a good internet connection in order to play music...

Indian recipes you say? My Mum has written an Indian recipe book that has literally just been released (for which I have done the photography). Shameless self plug, but it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
It’s a non-profit book, with all proceeds going to a family member’s memorial fund. This will then be distributed to a number of youth-focused charities.
The recipe are almost all Punjabi (North Indian), with a focus on explaining the reasoning behind certain ingredients and methods, as well as a bit of a social commentary from my mum growing up as a 2nd generation Indian in the UK.

I’ve been in living here for 18 months now... if you’re still here, try El Pachuco for tacos, Robata for sushi, Bodega 1900 (if you can get a booking) for excellent tapas, Parking Pizza for err, Pizza and El Xampanyet for a crazy busy/fun cava and tapas experience.
Like beer? Try Garage for a decent selection. Coffee: Satan/Syra/Nomad.
