i have a (i think) 54cm wf holdsworth from the stone age, i sanded it down and then primed it white so its ready for painting. it would be a perfect polo bike me thinks, not sure if the left rear drop is bent ever so slightly but with it being mega steel im sure it will be fine.
Like £30 for the frame with no forks, i live in southport

i have most bits to build a pice of shit fixed bike (that will be sexy), the only things i really need now are a rear fixed wheel, or any rear wheel for that matter, as i dont even have a 700c rear wheel and i might need some 1" forks, then a chain but im sure theres one lyin round in the shed.
so i need the cheapest rear wheel ever invented that can take my 15stone weight without collapsing, can be either fixed or ss, i can pay a little i think(but it depends how much as its so close to christmas) or depending on what you want, i have some bike bits and bobs like mavic d521 grinded rims on hope xc's for trials riding, a nearly new middleburn trials crank, azonic double wall riser bars, new but faded, magura hs33's erm and a mint front mavic gp4 tub rim on a dura ace 7700...i have lots of other bike bits lying around so just ask and show me what youve got.
thanks. oh and i live in southport near liverpool so unless your local items will have to be posted.

duno, the forks are from a trials bike, i didnt think anyone would want them, theyre pace forks....
these are them on ebay but this is not my sale, they have a few scratches on but have never been used for trials riding as my brother is lazy when it comes to building/finishing a bike.
if anyone wants to trade them for something lets see what youve got..

k so on to my next question, does anyone have a 54cm ish frame, dont really care about condition i just want to get riding now, to trade for my vintage holdsworth, the one i sanded down and i have now primed it white, im not sure wether or not the rear right drop out is bent but it would be an ideal bike for refurbishment or polo?
i doubt there will be any offers but lets see what happens.

on the bike ive got the front forks are bent slightly and the stem is seized into them, so when i got them off i measured them and there 1' threaded, i have some pace forks lying around and theyre 1'1/8" and i thought theyd go on the bike alright, so i tried them and they fitted on to the frame but it was quite tight, i didnt have to force them or anything but they rub ever so slightly,,,,so my question is, would i be able to use these forks on the frame and just grease them up or should i just buy some new forks or a new frame? or trade the frame with someone who has a cheapo frame to trade that takes 1'1/8" forks???

no sorry i think it has vertical or slanted drops, i will go measure it now for you, and yes just the frame....you can have the forks if you want but they have a cut off stem seized into them =) and the threads on the forks are fucked. but im sure it could all be sorted.
