Because bike's have crap fuel economy if they are ridden the way most people do and they don't last half as long as cars.

Well the unmachined one i have for trade is currently a bit damaged (brake pad marks etc), it's getting powder coated end of next month though so it will be nice and fresh. I'll pm you nearer the time you might fancy it then.

I would sell the front wheel now but there seems little point in selling just one rim in it's current state. I might as well sell it after powder coating as I will get more for it and the price of powder coating one rim or two will be negligible .

If no one wants to trade an unmachined rim for a machined one does anyone have a white velocity deep v (machined) for sale?

I've always liked the colour purple, and will be respraying my holdsworth (probably) in the new year at armourtex... at the moment it's a toss up between british racing green, purple or stripped with a clear coat.

Is anyone getting any powder coating done soon in white or purple? If so I need a rim or 2 done and would chip in to the cost of the job.

Also I have an unmachined velocity deep v that I want to trade for the machined version. It is white and laced to a surly hub. Unfortunately it has been used with a brake and there are some black marks and patches where the paint has been worn to the metal (photos if anyone is interested). I am willing to trade the whole wheel or just the rim.

I'd be up for some throw ins now and then.
