From what I could gather here are a lot of boxes to be ticked before they hand over any cash, home insurance is probably a lot easier.

It was suggested at Wests a few weeks back that tin foil in your shoes works pretty well considering it costs next to nothing.

Just get something for £15-£20 will do you fine.

Will you be using the lockring sorethroat?

In the unlikely even that the wheel doesn't sell and you want to split I would be interested in the dura ace lock ring. I'll also take the other 13t sprocket, I'm not about until the 11th though so it would be a little while before I could pay/collect.

Ok that's fair, from your original description they weren't exactly what I was looking for so I wasn't massively bothered about getting them. If you can confirm that they are for a single chain ring (as DMC suggests) then I will offer you £50 for them. I apologies if my offer appeared to be a piss take or cheeky but that's what I was willing to pay for them at the time.

edit: I'm in berlin next week dmc so it looks like I will miss that one too. I doubt you will accept my offer if they are going for such high prices brand new.

Manufacturing standards mean this won't happen (assuming you don't buy some dodgey unbranded thing from the market).

You can try mine one on if you want, giro monza I bought it for £50 at the start of the year and it has a nifty quick adjuster thing on it. I'd suggest just going to a shop and trying some on though.

Am I right in assuming that you can hire helmets at the track?

Couldn't be buggered shelling out about £70 for a good one only to use it when i'm at the track.

Depends on your definition of good, do you really need it to weigh next to nothing, do you really need it to be super ventilated? The answer is probably not, all of the helmets you can buy will be safe and most will be reasonabley comfortable.
