The thread previously known as 'Retro's reprise tyre sale' - now just the 26ers
Numbering refers to photos HERE
Prices include P&P in UK (only). Discount for bulk buys/collection from SE1/Waterloo.
No dibs please, just DM for payment details or to arrange collection.
Just these left now - £15 collected, can't reduce the posted price any more due to hassle/cost of shipping wire-bead tyres!
2&3) Continental Gatorskins 26"x 28mm (28-559) nearly new, wire bead. £22/pair -
My go-to tape white or black is Fizik Tempo Microtex Classic - wraps really nicely, grippy wet or dry, you can get away with a re-wrap 2-3 times without it ripping, and exactly as on the tin looks classic. Although the new version is branded Fizik in contacting colour all down one edge, you can wrap so as to (mostly) hide that. Like all white tape it can get a bit grubby but does clean up - I use some 'Flash with Bleach' kitchen spray on a cloth!

Thanks! Interesting you mention those levers - my son is happy with the PowerShift, he knows no better, but I miss the Chorus/Record UltraShift vibe. I've been feeling the urge to swap out the bodies for UltraShift and keep the silver brake lever blades, but as you rightly point out the silver gear paddles are class. Decisions, decisions... 🤔
Only just realised what damage an iPhone does to the colour of the Moser, it's nowhere near that fluoro - this is a bit closer...

@Kimmo @J0nathan thanks for the re-spots! As per a previous enquiry/spot on this thread, the two MGGOFs in L'Atelier du Velo are builds of mine. The Masi was previously for sale on forum, the Massi (2-s version!) frame was in my frames for sale thread but I got bored one day and made it a bike again. Thanks to the lovely Josh at L'Atelier for the window space, they don't technically sell bikes in there but he was happy to have a splash of colour up front! Both available much cheaper via the forum if anyone interested! Here are a couple of photos not behind glass!

Specialties TA seem to be the only people offering Campag compatible 11spd now, the keyword is 'Nerius' which denotes the offset hidden bolt. Can also be used to convert 10spd Centaur, Chorus and Record to 11spd. Sadly now only available in anodised matt black, but I've used these on silver arms and they look OK. Available from SPA Cycles:

What year/model of cranks - although the BCD with the 'odd' hidden bolt was consistent for all Ultra/Powertorque cranks, the THICKNESS of the ring also affects fit - basically 2 sorts - cheap(er) and nasty stamped type (usually not polished) and fancier polished and/or machined finish (early Centaur, later Veloce, Athena 11s - it's never simple. What speed drivetrain will you actually be running?

I've got just the thing I want out of my life (living room) - silver 36H rims, silver generic high-flange track hubs fixed/free, spokes are galvanised not stainless but in decent condition, only rust is on the track nuts. I can include a 16T or 18T fixed cog with lockring. £40 collected from SE1 near Waterloo. With free less than perfect pair of 26mm GravelKing slicks currently stopping them sliding around.

Probably just over 9kg without pedals? I've weighed a lot of MGOOF builds over the years and quality frame+components from that era are consistently in that ball park. Obvs groupsets and components vary, as do the frames. A similar frame with Record (carbon) and bling wheels, with some fancy finishing kit and you'd be down nearer 8k. Fit a Columbus minimal fork (which also allows ahead stem without an adaptor) and that's another 300-400 gms saved depending on the steel fork you're replacing.

That's an easy one, here you go:

Comes without pedals, but I'm sure I can find some. Pretty much anything else can be changed if you have alt prefs. -
@kjlem - Which frame/bike would you like better pictures of?

Big price-drop-bump and further cull of sold items...
