I'm having an ACL reconstruction on the 1st November and have been told it may take a year before I can return to work. I'm a self employed plasterer so this will be devastating to my finances, I have a mortgage, 3 year old and six week old daughters. Any advice on speeding up recovery after the op? If poss could you pm with rates and any ideas of a programme that might be usefull, thanks.

I love BLB, I usually get sorted out on prices, get a bit drunk, get shown how to do stuff and yeah you can leave your bike in the back and watch people trying to buy it. I f you worked somewhere, where you get shit loads of hipster cnuts and loaded city mocknies peacocking about, you may find on occasion that you want to fuck them off.

Half the bike thieves of good bikes in London are regular cyclists, that's how they know what's good and who buy''s these nicked bikes? other cyclists that know it's nicked. Your not getting a 17 weedhead paying £700 for a carbon nag to pose in front of his mates it will be some yuppy that doesn't care the little scrote's been rummaging around in your house for the bike, only to pose to his mates in Richmond park.
Just go to Bricklane and watch who buys expensive nicked bikes all day long, it makes me sick you would expect them to be dodgy cnuts not regular joe's. -
