I would guess at least 7 or 8 bikes, if not more.. there are a lot of gaps in the room :/ When I called the police they already had a file open, so they're well aware.

I couldn't see a single single speed left in the room (there used to be at least 3), so there may be some other unhappy forum members to come out of the woodwork yet.

I got home to my place of residence tonight to find that the "secure" bike room had been somewhat cleaned out. No forced entry, so whoever it was must have had one of the electronic keyfob toys to get into both the front gate and the room itself - yay for suspected inside jobs.

So, I'm now missing a totally stock Charge Plug Freestyler, complete with all the reflectors, and with a pair of shimano M520 pedals on it :(

Insured, thankfully - but still a pain in the ass... went into the bike room before and there's lots of cut locks all over the floor, not a pretty sight at all. I've called the police, apparently someone will call me back tomorrow to get bike details/frame numbers etc.

Off to gumtree/ebay I guess :'(

I'm well happy with my charge plug freestyler OTP purchase... cheap and awesome.

Haven't actually tried them in anger yet, but the pair of SIDI Dominators sitting downstairs feel amazingly comfy walking around the lounge, they may well be my favourite shoes yet. Tomorrow will tell.

I've just switched my plug over to being fixed-gear from freewheel, and as much as I love the idea of adjusting chain tension all the time some chain tugs sound like a sensible option.

Does anyone know what size tugs I will need (or what ones will fit, to put it another way), otherwise is there a part of the frame I need to measure to find ones that will fit?

Yeah that was me, I'm presuming you were the two guys right on the corner. I was going to come up and say hello, then the crowd kinda closed in, and I couldn't be bothered fighting my way through them with the bike. Next time I'll be more social also :)

I can definitely confirm the tightness of Vicky's buns, quality.

The highlight for me was riding back up the parade route once it had finished, absolutely no cars on the road at all, so probably my fastest ever trip up to Bishopsgate :)

I find that using a whisk gives you finer control over the consistency, and therefore a better product.

If you're looking for a lower priced Plug Freestyler, I just picked one up from bikeshop.uk.com for £359.99 with free next day shipping - cheapest I could find one.

(I hope this thread wants price updates, it looked like it did - and I certainly don't work for the shop in question)

Sadly the Nomad doesn't get as much use over here vs in NZ - silly flat countries.

Not long lurker, but first time poster for sure.

I'm one of those mountain biking types who wants something better for commuting around the city (or something at all), so I have one of those ugly as sin charge plug freestylers turning up tomorrow. Actually, not really ugly, but maybe special.

Will ride it freewheel until I get used to the horribly steep head angles and such, then give this fixie thing a go.
