Yep 14's are Odge's straps. Got a pair the other day and they're pretty sweet the buckles arent all that but the leather is tough as. Odge told me he used the same sort of leather as brooks saddles as opposed to the split grain leather in normal straps. They were the biggest bastard to get through the pedals but they're solid..

Depending on how hard you come down on your hands, you're quite likely to break your collarbone anyway. One thing I can say is wear gloves! If you do go down better to have your gloves take the sliding on the tarmac than your palms as hippy said, and, as I found the other day, the one day I chose not to wear gloves as well..

Does anyone have a banjo bros bag and if so, do they have any comments on it?

It looks good for the money - £80 from urbanhunter
I got one. They are pretty decent for the price, come with the laptop sleeve as well so that can act as padding. Plenty of space as well as two bottle pocket bits and tabs for your lights and what not. It's a little bit wide for me, but my back isn't very broad, I'm a skinny bastard, so I'm certain on a bloke with broader shoulders it would be a good fit.
