I have found out that I could claim for my broken Macbook Pro on my home insurance. However I donated it to a charity last week! I have photographs but the insurance people want an instruction manual. Does anyone have one I could borrow for a few weeks? It was the older Macbook Pro, not the glossy new one.

We've ordered some amazing 48h Phil Woods touring hubs wich should be bomb proof. Now we need a good reliable set of components. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have found both BLB and 14 to be awesome shops. Even the notorious Jan is always been helpful and friendly. I do however still have an air of elitism but to be honest I expect that going into any independent bike/music/clothing.... store.

When this thread was new, I managed to do a minute plank with a 20kg plate on my back. But since then I gave up on all the ab work I used to do like L-sits, leg raises and attempting front-levers. So my abdominal strength has probably gone down.

My squat numbers have finally exceeded 100kg which is nice. But still a comparatively tiny.

Planks kill me! I can barely do a 30 seconds. I really need to work on my abs.

**Now fully built up HED Jet 9 front (700c 28h Tubular) laced to Campag record hub. Comes with brand new tub and a free valve extender. The only issue is that there has been some wear on the carbon, which has left the spokes holes untidy (see picture) and a few little bits have fallen inside meaning you can hear them jiggle about, though while riding centrifugal force means the rim is silent.

I would like £65 and either collection from Hackney or central.

Would prefer collection from Hackney or can meet somewhere central if needed.

Thanks but I have one of those already which is currently being used as a media centre. My girlfriend needs a laptop to do some of her work away from home though. Not sure whether to get a macbbok pro or a regular MacBook. Does anyone know if there is any real world differences?

Yep, Casp's right, could well be. The icon means that the operating system can't be located. Most of the time you can get around this, but sometimes the HD's goosed. Better hope it's under a year old if so.

I have had since 05/06. It has lasted well having taken it around the world. But like im said I trying to be frugal at the moment.

To be honest it is on its last legs anyway. The right hand fan conked out last week, the super drive doesn\t work and one of the USB's no longer recognise anything. Im trying to save at the moment so I am reluctant to buy a new one. But if mine has the same issues as yours i think im just going to bite the bullet and get a new one.
