I got a small frame with fork and headset. giant bowery 2008 black and chrome combination. size s 47 cm frame in a+ condition if that can help you . It's something with so called compact road geometry so it can suit a slightly taller rider than normaly expected for 47cm. the top tube is 54cm and the stand over hight of the complete bike is 75cm. if any useful i sort out some pix this evening.
cheers

Hi. I'd be interested in the frame. Is there any time I could have a look at it? Feel free to email me: rgms1986@hotmail.com. Any pics would be great.
Hi there,

Would you post it?

welcome ile, nice conversion. i like that, solution to a problem, bang, done! Only a matter of time until you order that custom frame with track ends eh?
any aspirations to ride fixed or you sticking to single speed for now.
Cheers for the warm welcome Ved :-)
I recently bought a 23" vintage pug premiere in great nick and a pair of flip flop track wheels. for the fixie conversion. I'll post some pix as soon as i get on top of it:-)

Looks like fun. I'm not a massive fan of that tensioner, but that's largely an aesthetic issue. Perhaps you could look into magic gears if you ever manage to have the bike to yourself for a while.
To be honest the choice of tensioner was made for only one reason which was it's price. The thing costed me about 6 quid from ebay :-) It's ugly but it does the job quite well.
I will probably try to find that magic gear sometime:-)

Hi all,
Happy new year 2009 :-)
Here is my first singlespeed conversion.
The mechs messed up so i deicided to get a few bits and bobs and make it singlespeed
And here it is: Giant OCR in a singlespeed version

For some reason i got a shimano alfine tensioner which works only with 3/32 chains but gives really nice tension and perfect 42mm chainline.
The conversion was really cheap and quite funny diy.
The bike is so much funnier to ride now. The ratio is 39/16. It's smooth and easy to pedal.
Cheers
