I got a really nice complete bike for sale.

Frame is reynolds 531c tubed with BCM lugs. I bought it as gitane branded (it was already powder coated so couldn't see the labels) from a local fellow cyclist two years back.

all mechanical parts are brand new (seen a 5 miles test ride)

-FSA Vero chainset
-FSA bottom bracket
-KMC 1/8 bmx chain ( don't remember the exact model)
-Wienmann ultra deep V profile 43mm rims laced to novatech white hubs
-Tektro Caliper ( don't know the exact model. very strong and nice looking caliper)
-Vittoria Zafiro white/ black 700c x 23 tyres
-nice alloy stem handlebars with blank bxm lever.
-alloy pedals ( unknown brand)
-Ritchey grips

the bike is a real eye catcher and rides great (my wife tested it as i am 6'3''). Frame is in excellent condition with only a few minor paint chips.

Size is 19.5 inches.

Why not consider any good caliper with strong spring and put a pair of decent pads like kool stop salmon? i think you'll have less hassle finding it and still have excellent stopping power. i haven't got any calliper so i am not trying to sell you anything. just trying to be helpful with suggestions :-)

I noticed that quite a few people enquired about this bike for polo and wanted lighter gear ratio. the smallest chainring i can put on is 39t and the largest fixed cog i can do is 20t as well as the 20t freewheel. rear brake will obviously be needed for a freewheel option but i''ll sort that out.

The bike can be sold with FSA Vero chainset instead of a sugino rd-2 which will drive down the price by 20 quid. so the price would be 270 instead of 290 quid.

Has anyone except myself had bad experience with this seller so far? does anyone know his contact details?

I've bought a couple of items from him on 5th oct and paid him by paypal ( luckily i didn't go for gift option) that he had failed to dispatch.

As an understanding person i am trying to beleive that he was going through some hard times or so and that's why he still hasn't dispatched the bits but two months is really a bit to much and i see that i'll have to take some action now.

Just before taking any legal action i would still like o try resolving this in a friendly and civilised manner so if you know the guy could you please come forward with the contact details or something like that?

How about a nice Ernie Clements 54cm. Steel frame in good con. Good wheels (rear rim is alex r500, front ambrosio) with formula sealed bearing hubs. flip flop rear. new michelin tyres, sugino gs chainset. 42:16 gear ratio currently set as fixed. can put a freewheel on if you need it.

on top of that your local evans will price match it.

I'm interested in this, would you consider selling frame and forks on their own?

Didn't have that in mind when building it up to be honest :-)

If no one grabs it as complete bike in a week or so then I probably won't have many other choices on my hands.
