Guys, beleive it or not. I managed to recover the gitane :-)
I spotted a fucking asshole riding it a couplee of streets away from my house. I shouted and stoped him. He immediately suspected what 's gonna happen left the bike and ran away.
Damn dickhead has managed to escape into a council estate unfortunately...
Anyway, I am still looking for the remaining three bikes
Will keep you updated -

Thank you so much fellows :-)
At least in London there is a bit of hope for cyclists that things will get a ,,micro bit'' better but in small towns you just wouldn't believe how the police approaches these things. I am wondering if per example a nicked bike is spotted somewhere and the coppers called, are they obligated to get their excellences out and recover it or it all depends on their good will?
is anyone among us here fond of law and such things to give a bit of guidance about our rights to seek justice from law enforcement organizations such as the police? -

horrible feeling specially after i went to the police station and filed the report. the crooks left the padlock on the shed full of fingerprints and the coppers didn't bother to get those prints or take a look at the scene. the only way out of my street is on the main road which is well coverred with cctv, not surprisingly the coppers didn't bothered with that either as according to them the time scale between 11pm and 7am is far to long to look at the footage. during the night from my street onto the main road usually pass just a couple of vehicles all together so it wouldn't be that hard to spot a van or truck getting onto the main road. I truly struggle to accept how notoriously soft our system is towards this type of crime. really gutted...

Hi Guys and Gulls,
My back garden has been attacked by most likely organized group of thieves on the night between the 26sep and 27sep between 11pm and 7am.
They broke into a neighbours garden (end terrace) jumped over into my one (next house to end terrace) and took 4 bikes all locked one to another with 1 krypto new york 18mm lock, 1 krypto new york 16mm lock and with a magnum 14mm chain to a shed.
Bikes were not at all visible from the street as the neighbours fence is around 7ft tall brick wall.
I suspect this was tipped of by someone in the neighbourhood or so. Noone heard anything including myself
4 Very nice bikes have been taken:
1) Specialized singleecross 58cm. rear wheel is a dp 18 bblack rim on ON-ONE hub while the front wheel was a white deep v type rim on quando hub with red tyre on.

2) Condor 49cm orange fixie with lime green deep profile rims on silver formulas with blue tyres. sugino chainset, selle LDY saddle, yellow tape. real eye catcher. since picctured the tyres were changed to blue ones.

3) Small 50cm gitane fixie. powder coated in pink with orange bullhorns. white deep v type wheels with red tyres

4) Giant OCR2 roady . 61cm. red tyres sora triple chainset ( new type sora), 105 9 speed cassette and mech, Tiagra STIs ultegra front mech. orange bar tape. don't have a pic of this one but the pic shown bellow is exactly the same giant as this one was exceept the orange bar tape and red tyres.

I expect some of these bike to be offered for sale in London or eventually Oxford in the next couple of weeks. Some of you may also spot them being ridden around.
If you spot them PM me please :-)
Any kind of information will be gratefully appreciated

sugino will defo fit but if you don't want to pay the price of the sugino it may be chaper to get the cranks you want and can afford and then a matching bb.
as far as i know there is also a cheaper ,,sugino,, copy called lasco or something similar costing half the price of the real deal that should also fit that bb
lastly have a look in the transmission database on the forum. that should give you a rather extensive list of combinations that work well.

Hi guys,
A bit of topic now :-)
Quartz Chronograph Navitimer Style Watch with japanese quartz movement and working chronos as on the gen one.
I got this watch as an unwanted gift from a Japanese friend. Not really my style so up for sale.
The watch is really chunky (46mm) and shiny piece of stainless steel that catches the eye rather well.
Japanese myota chrono quartz movement inside as found in seikos, citizens and many other modern chrono watches.
GONE
Thanks for looking
