Nice, but I’ve not seen a rim brake bike go north of £1000 for months, no matter the spec
It looks weird compared to todays’ MTBs, but the early 29ers tried to replicate the geometry and handling of 26” bikes. Often this meant very steep head angles. See this charge bike as a particularly egregious example
