Any good?

Condition is pretty good for its age, but it has a few chips to the paint and a tiny knock to the toptube which is small enough to go mostly unnoticed and I had to work hard to capture it (about an inch from the little chip). Paint has a lovely deep pearlescent lustre

This is a guy for whom I’m guessing English isn’t his first language, doing a buddy a favour in trying to sell a bike on behalf of a person who may struggle with the concepts of market value and depreciation. I have relatives on the autism spectrum who would also struggle with this. We all know that this is a relatively mid-low level bike and won’t command the asking in a depressed market, but there is no need for mocking / snarkiness

It’s a Chinese open-mold frame. Could be had for £300 brand new on eBay (back when people actually wanted rim-brake bikes). Exoteric it ain’t. Decent build, though £1200 is about double what it’s worth. Finding a buyer with sufficient skills though … that’s the real challenge
