Spent a thoroughly enjoyable few hours with Scherrit and Corinne last night.
I was glad to find that most of my set up was pretty good, so we sent a decent amount of time getting my cleats dialled in. Felt instantly better, can't wait to go out and do some decent miles this weekend.
Also have some good recommendations for new compact bars...
Totally worth it!

Balls. Did you ask in Brixton Cycles?
Yup. In person.
I'd say turn up on the day and speak with the organisers. I did the Surrey Rumble like this. People will always drop out on the day.
I mailed the dude and asked him exactly this - he said by all means turn up and if people don't show I can go. He said I wouldn't get an info pack or whatever but not really bothered about that.

Bumpety bump.
Ridiculous question, i know, but i've got an interview at a courier company next week - what the hell are you supposed to wear?? Clearly a suit and tie would be absurd, but the kind of stuff i wear on my bike (crappy jeans/shorts, jumper with holes in it, etc.) is presumably also a no-no. Any thoughts?
Head to toe ASSOS

Just made a complaint to tfl about a bus driver meeting me at full pelt on Graham rd while overtaking another bus, in my lane with a few feet to spare each side.
Guess it'll be 2 months til I hear something
DJ wrote about a minicab driver - that would have been investigated by the Public Carriage Office on Penton St, bit of a long-winded process. Still, 2 months is still shit.
Your letter regarding buses will go to London Buses customer services - they'll try and resolve within 15 working days .

Had one of these semi-literates whining at me on Friday. He was desparate to overtake me on Lambeth road, despite complete lack of room.
Finally overtook, then he was in wrong lane so cut back across me without indicating. Then whined at me for 'being in the middle of the road'
Fucking shit ass tipper truck cunts.

TA make Campag CT standard chainrings - 34-42 on the little ring and 48-53 on the big ring.
So you can go 53-42 on a CT crank.

If you have campag CT, that is. You haven't said.
Quality work DJ.
