One of the most fun rides I've done in a while. Ended up doing about 46 miles after a few wrong turns. Went off too hard at the start and didne have much left for the hills at the end.

Gutted that the ferry was a no-go, was looking forward to enjoying the rest.

Spent a thoroughly enjoyable few hours with Scherrit and Corinne last night.

I was glad to find that most of my set up was pretty good, so we sent a decent amount of time getting my cleats dialled in. Felt instantly better, can't wait to go out and do some decent miles this weekend.

I'd say turn up on the day and speak with the organisers. I did the Surrey Rumble like this. People will always drop out on the day.

I mailed the dude and asked him exactly this - he said by all means turn up and if people don't show I can go. He said I wouldn't get an info pack or whatever but not really bothered about that.

I was determined to make this my first ever ride with people off of this forum, particularly as CP is my neck of the woods and this is a familiar route.

TA make Campag CT standard chainrings - 34-42 on the little ring and 48-53 on the big ring.

So you can go 53-42 on a CT crank.
