they are made by Formula.
Okay, so they are still based in the UK and I got confused about that. In that case they must have just made their manufacturing process cheaper or summit. As you can pull the bearings out with your fingers (they don't fall out).
Why do I need to speak to BETD? I don't like their hubs, I don't own any, I never plan to own any, I've seen enough through the shop to know I don't like them and that they are crap. Irrespective of where they are made, how nice their customer service is, how friendly some guy called dan is. I really couldn't give a toss. I'm just interested in the components quality to price ratio, and on that one Goldtec fail, Miche fail, apparently suzue buget fail an so on.

miche: Hub body made of cheese, lockring made of cheese + italian threads makes replacements expensive, Nuts are crap, Axles are crap.
Formula: "ugly cutouts(if not condor), regular bearings, nice forged body, non hassle no tool required user replacable bearings, normal chainline, heavy duty axle, locknuts sometimes crack can be replaced with d-ace or any steel kind,
the only issue i see is the bearings....buy a phil specced for 12 a pair and be done with" Broken_777Despite selling hundreds of Formula hubs we rarely see them with serious problems, or any problems that can't be resolved with new bearings. Conversely we don't sell miche products (cos their shit) and see a reasonably number of fucked and totaly fucked hubs.

In fact the minimum cycling speed in a cycle lane should be 20pmh. If you are riding slower than that go on the pedestrian path
Why do you go in the cycle lanes?
There is simply no reason to go in them. Unless of course a lorry has exploded and its debris is on fire and burning on every other part of the road and pavement. -
for me, foot retention for fixed wheel use on the streets is like this from best to worst:
(BEST)
-Clippless (TIME FTW)
-New Straps like Jol, Holdfast, Pinzat etc
-Double straps + Clips
-Feetbelts / Powergrips
-Single Straps and Clips
(WORST)New school straps (most types) are way better than any other kind of strap, but feel like shit compared to clipless. That said its nice to go out at night and not have to take a spare pair of shoes. So the argos shall keep its pink holdfast.

I don't know French, but in any case I haven't seen them
franticaly googles crap suzue hubs in new tab
Aye, they look shite.
But, my hatred of Miche is not off hand, its based on having seen bucket loads of fucked ones in general and at work. They just suck ass - along with most modern Miche components. -

the miche ones are nice
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Miche_Primato_Large_Flange_pair_of_Track_Hubs/5360040675/
and you can get them in black cos i've got black ones, not sure if theres an option for that on wiggle though
mine are also 36 hole....
Never has a more wrong thing been said.
miche are the worst track hubs available on the market by a mile. -

I thought Unipack wheels had gold or blue rear hubs?
