I think we all need a massive group hug. Tensions have flared lately. I'm personally ready to let all of this slide into the past, and work on keeping our community tight. I've gotten into serious arguments with a few people, but I'd like to say for the record that despite my frustration with different ideas and approaches, I like and have a great deal of respect for each and every one of you. I want to thank Roxy, Mike, Iain, Brendan, Gabes, and others for all their hard work on the Euros.
Big fucking hug

Iain your not wanting BAD to play in the euro's has been clearly voiced in all 900 threads, i think we understand your 'principles' maybe just respect the OP, which clearly states, put your name down for whatever reason, if you DO NOT agree don't put your name down. Is that difficult? You didn't put your name down, neither did you roxy, you don't agree, i get it. We all get it.
BNo, dude, you don't get it. Iain and Roxy are trying to their hardest to deal with multiple pressures, multiple demands, and come up with a good compromise for the Euros. There are lots of issues going on here, and not all of them revolve around BAD Polo. Iain and Roxy are putting in an enormous amount of work on this. It has nothing to do with BAD Polo. You've done a lot of work too. But Iain's work and opinions have nothing to do with any attempt to explicitly exclude BAD Polo.
You know Iain is not scared of BAD Polo. Reckon Malice has beaten BAD the majority of times we've played you. The polo world does not revolve around BAD Polo. Why don't you give up with your incessant insinuations about how everyone has it out for BAD.
I have to say, putting up a petition that will only accept people who support your position and not allow dissenters is pretty fucking weak.

bit long winded but what were the points/goal scores?
Malice was 7-1. The next three teams were 6-2, and took their spots in order of goal difference.

We have reserved a spot for a mixed team (a team with at least one woman on it). It seems clear there is more opposition to this now that people have figured it the situation). It also seems clear from the petition that there is a lot of support for BAD going through. Can we please just have a new vote, without any discussion, and see what people want to do? Let's make this the final vote and stick by it.
What should we do with the fifth spot London currently has reserved?
- Give it to a mixed-gender team, to be decided by vote
- Give it to BAD Polo
- Make it an open wildcard spot, to be decided by vote
- Give it to the team that placed fifth in the qualifiers
If we end up getting another spot after registration closes, we can have a similar vote again for the fifth spot.
Please -- someone with admin privileges post this vote? It seems to me like the best way to try to get some London unity back together. New things have come to light, old issues are not resolved, let's just have a new vote to finalize this situation.

We are waiting to hear back about a spot on Union St. in Southwark.
