Right - Ive had this bike 2yrs and done just 350 miles on it. I bought it as an alternative to my road bike bike but just not used it. Now Stoke City are in Cup Final and Im having to pay 500 for 2 tickets I think I best sell this
Its been hung up in the dry and is still in perfect condition - Im up in Watford - so feel free to come and look before you buy
Its 61cm - so really for someone 6foot+ taller -its set up for me -Im 6 3
I fitted it up with road bars and retro mafac levers after initially setting up with just front brake
It comes with Look Keo pedals but as you can see the old (?) pedals are immaculate - and will come with the 2nd set of bars
Sugino Chainset 46t - wheels run perfect - fixed and freewheel
Top tube measures about 58cm
Ive up loaded set of photos at

Dear chuckyeggI might be interested in these.I dont suppose they are still sticky so is the glue/tape to fix them included in the price?
his reply :
we must have a bit of confusion here! they dont stick, they have a small plastic clamp which you turn to secure them to the spokes.

I forced mine out by other means and did not attempt this - but its interesting??
Seatpin removal
Author: John Conway
I have finished extracting the alloy seat pin from my tandem frame via the "dissolving method". If any one would like information on this, I am happy to give them the benefit of my experience. All in all a good one I might add.
I was interested in removing the seatpin using coke, ie phosphoric acid. I expect that there would be some etching of the steel of the frame but on the other hand some benefits of rust proofing!
The dissolving method which I was attracted to in an early issue of* Lightweight News* uses caustic soda to dissolve the recalcitrant alloy seat pin. In my case there was no access via the bottom bracket as the frame was a welded frame with the seat tube sealed. All other methods of removing the corroded/frozen pin had been exhausted and I was also exhausted. Well there were other possibilities, but they were more destructive.
Firstly I decided that the seat pin could be sacrificed.
I cut the top off the pin leaving about 1 cm above the seat clip. In retrospect about 3 cms would have been wiser!
I determined that there was an end to the pin and that the seat tube did not need to be filled with any chemical. Your situation may be different.
I made an approximately 4N solution of caustic soda by adding 40 gms of Caustic soda grains(Crystals) to 250 mls (a standard cup) of water. Important: use rubber gloves and a plastic container. Do not use glass because the material will ruin the glass and you will have to throw it away (Recycle). I put the cut off piece of the seat pin in this solution and observed the cutting rate. It was about 0.5 mm in 24 hrs.
I tried a more aggressive solution of about 6N, 60 gms in 300 mls of water. This was too aggressive, it all bubbled and frothed up and chewed away at the seat post at a frightening rate. I settled on a 5N solution, 200 gms of caustic soda to 1 litre of water. Safety: Add caustic soda to the water, and not the other way around. Mind your eyes. Wear protective gloves and eyewear.
I then poured a solution down the hollow seat post and left it. Periodically it would froth up to the top of the seat post. If it overflows remove the overflow immediately by diluting the overflow with water. This stuff make an effective paint stripper.
Every 24 hrs empty, flush and refill. What to do with the residue is an environmental hazard problem. Diluted, it could probably go into the sewer. Do not put it into the stormwater drains. The residue is normally a black solution of some aluminite. I have not quite worked it out but it is very caustic and corrosive to most things except steel.
After 10 days of this treatment, the pin was all gone except for a 2 cm section at the top. I knew that the job was finished when I went to flush it out one morning and the residue was clear. No activity. I just pulled out the 2cm shell with a pair of pliers. It was paper thin at this time. YMMV My pin was Al Alloy 25.8+mm dia forced into a 25.8 tube without any grease I suspect with at least 250 mm immersed. Wall thickness was at least 3mm. It may have been quicker if I had woken up earlier to regular flushing and refreshing the solution.
It goes without saying to keep the stuff/process away from children and animals including birds.
Hope that this may be helpful to someone who is desperate. I was desperate.

am clearing out some old stuff . am reluctant to skip it as someone may be able to use and salvage is some way = Iknow this is a fixed forum but someone out there may want
I have old don farrell 531road frame 24.5 inch - its got small dent in tob tube and needs spray and reapair by filling.Campag rear ends I think. Its got mavic bottom bracket (which runs very smooth)as threads were a bit iffy = its made for frame where threads not 100% due to age.Its got old 1976 campag strada chainset 175mm cranks - rings worn but cranks just about ok for old bike.Fork is ok but got mudgaurd eyes - if you can use fork alone it might be worth the trip? Its spaced for freewheel at 125mm not cassette - Ive been using it one time for turbo training
The other frame is yellow aluminium coppi .hardly used. Its clean and straight but has vertical drop outs. its also about 63cm frame =Im 6 3 and its ok for me.problem was I bought on ebay and shopwho fittted headset may have tapped headset in a touch hard = so theres a very small hairline crack a top of headtube about 1 cm long.Shop assure me its structually sound and ok to ride - or repair if you know someone who can work with aluminium and dont want to fill it.If you can do that it would be perfect but heat would need some paint touching up.It has no forks as Ive put them on different bike
Anyway if youre interested you can collect from me.
Ive also got some 36 spoke campag s/f record hubs with mavic clincher rims which go with this =clean and true with bearings in vgc as replaced. But am going to have to sell those on different ad.they are too good to give away
Cant photo right now as im laid up sick
Im up in watford though

Here is 24 inch fixed frame for sale - manufacturer not know as different transfers on when I acquired it
Wheels run true and frame straight and not damaged at all
Its not quite my size and I need to sell. All in all ready to ride - the left hand crank has been overtightened at one stage and has a hairline crack but its ok to ride and Ive used it without problem
Its sold as seen - but will definitely be a decent buy if you wish to upgrade odd bits
Its collect in Watford but its only 800 yds from tube station
£175 or best sensible offer
