Yeah, DT near the BB. Just jumped on it after a pick up, put the power down up the hill and then it felt like I was riding a wet noodle!!! Thought I'd busted a pedal at first but unfortunately not, it's cracked almost the whole way around.
Shit timing too, leaving for Melbourne and the CMWC in 3 weeks and can't afford a new frame (unless something ridiculously cheap comes up)
Sucks so much because I've fallen more and more in love with this bike as I've been working on it these last 6 months, amazing frame.

Such a shit work bike.. The Reiker was waaaay better!
That dude you sold it too sprayed it black. Now Pat owns it.
Also @PinkGottiMobbs is a big fanny, but I still love you.

Jumbo!! The man is an absolute machine, been at a couple of CMWC's with him.
Videos like this always glamorize being a messenger, yeah it's great fun and you meet some very cool and interesting people but you have to put up with the shit too, wet/cold days, lousy pay (depending on where you work), injuries, people hating you for no apparent reason.. and you tend to get 'stuck' in it too, I've tried numerous times to leave it behind but it's too addictive!!

Unfortunately nothing that really requires any kind of skill.. I was a messenger in Auckland NZ for the last 10 years, also worked for one of the wholesalers over there (WH Worrall & CO) who distribute Sram, Campy, GT and Cannondale to name a few.
Basically, I do bikes... but I'm not an old dog and can certainly learn new tricks!

I think I see a L-Pomp in my very near future, that 199 deal is too good to pass up really. Still dislike that fork though but ah well.
How are these things riding fixed? Pedal strike and what-not.
