Yeah. A bus can decelerate at a higher rate than a bicycle, in other words its maximum deceleration rate is higher, but how often is it that a bus decelerates at its maximum rate?

try living in Portsmouth in the 5 years I lived there I had the following stolen:

5 x bikes of various sorts all locked up with D locks
1 x Longboard
1 x Honda CRX
2 x Cameras (returned to me by the police)
3 x car stereo's
and one time someone broke into my car just to take all my uni work out of the back seat and throw it all in puddles.
