Exactly. I have my seat back as far as it goes on my Nelson. The seat tube is very steep which gives the relatively short top tubes. Good for the track and getting in a good position but not so good on the road (too much weight on hands), hence needing the seat way back. It works though as it is the same as having a couple of degrees of slack.

it is quite steep and the current setup is just from the initial ride, i alway tweak stuff once its been "lived with" for a while. I tend to be fairly heavy on my hands for day to day riding, but thats just preferance

have not had a chance to adjust the position properly hence all the spacers, but it looks that way to me so im sure it will be dialed in on the next dry day

Nelson is complete, very happy with it and it is a really decent frame for the money! My first new frame so very chuffed

it comes as frame and forks, so the headset can be fitted at steerer cut, the rest of it should be included in the box, but i think it must have been misplaced by cyclebasket thats all

crapberry pic, project nelson is underway....

and she sets sail as soon as i hear from cyclebasket who forgot to include half of the "included" headset, yet to hear back from them. cant wait to get her out, the welds look very tidy as well.

nice cranks! btw i dont think victory cranks were 135 bcd they had an odd chainring size, 116 bcd

Nelson cycles are distributed through cyclebasket online, exclusively i think. The track f+f represent really good value for money

No issues at all. Very stiff and nice handling frame and still comfortable for road use. Frame comes in at 1550 for the 54 so not bad weight either.

cheers for that, just put my order in for a 60cm, hopefully should be here middle of the week (fingers crossed) been eyeing one up for a while! im actually quite fond of the paint, though we will see how long that lasts!

a massive false economy, and the sad thing is that these bikes give a poor impression of what cycling is like, and is more likely to put people off in the long run. 2nd hand ftw

Yeah it seems scarse here, not sure why. I love that drink.

I've heard of Bullit, never had it though. Unsure of what it actually is.
EDIT: Oh wait I remember having it in a bar once because they didn't do Wild Turkey, so I was recommended Bullit because I said Wild Turkey is a Bourbon. I recall it being rather nice. It's funny though, 95% of the time I've asked if they serve Wild Turkey, no one has even heard of it...
